Spur Independent School District

On March 25, the Spur Spanish 3 and 4 classes were allowed to travel to Taos, New Mexico for a field trip. This trip was to serve as a grand learning experience as the main curriculum in these classes revolves around Spanish history/culture. During this trip, the class toured a Pueblo, an Indian settlement, located forty-five minutes away from Taos. In this tour, the students got to see as well as experience how these ancient Indians lived. There were many interesting elements within this Pueblo like some artifacts that dated back to the time that these Indians lived. This trip put all that the students had learned into a real life picture and will be one that they remember for a lifetime.
