Spur ISD is located in Spur, TX, Dickens County. School enrollment is 307 students, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grades. The district serves Spur, McAdoo, and a portion of Dickens.

Project Graduation 2012

Project Graduation 2012 will be held at The Main Event in Lubbock following graduation exercises on Friday, May 25. This special event is open to this year's high school students. Information will be announced to students.

High school students of Spur ISD will be taking The Texas Youth Tobacco Survey on May 22, 2012. Additional information about this survey can be found on the Information Sheet.

Spur ISD Summer Feeding Program

Spur ISD is required to participate in the Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Feeding Program.  The cafeteria will be open each week day beginning Tuesday, May 29, through Friday, June 28.  Any child 18 years and younger will be able to eat lunch for free in the cafeteria.  The meal will be served from 11:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.  The meal will be of the same quality as those served throughout the school year; however, only one entrée will be served each day.  Again, any child 18 years old or younger may eat lunch for free. 

Summer Employment Opportunities

Spur ISD will be hiring students to work during the summer break. Applications and information pertaining to the job may be picked up in the secondary office beginning Wednesday, May 2, 2012. You must be 16 prior to May 1, 2012 and enrolled in Spur ISD to apply.

Spur ISD Cafeteria Charges

Effective August 22, 2011, students will only be allowed 5 lunch charges. After that an alternative lunch of peanut butter and jelly, fruit and milk will be provided until payment is received.
