Texas1AFan is the only group that has contacted Spur ISD about broadcasting the game. There have been a lot of Phishing attempts out there posting links that say they are broadcasting games, so please be very cautious when selecting links that say they are broadcasting a Spur ISD activity. Letter jackets will not be handed out at this Friday's pep rally since the process is taking a lot longer now due to shipping shortages and such. They will not be in until late September at the earliest. We will let everyone know when they will be handed out once the jackets come in.

Spur ISD Title 1 Open House meeting will be Monday August 15th at 6:00pm. 6th Grade students will be will need to show up at 5:30 for orientation. High School and Junior High students will receive their schedule at Open House. Meet the Bulldogs and Spurettes will be Friday August 19th following the scrimmage at Jones Stadium.
There will be a substitute meeting on Monday, August 15th at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria for current subs and anyone interested in becoming a substitute teacher! The Greasers and Socs have been spotted at Spur Junior High!! 8th grade are celebrating finishing The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton. They are watching the movie adaptation, eating chocolate cake, and drinking cherry Kool-Aide. Stay gold, 8th graders!!
Spur ISD Summer Feeding Program
Spur ISD is required to participate in the Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Feeding Program. The cafeteria will be open each week day beginning Tuesday, May 31, through Thursday, June 30. Any child 18 years and younger will be able to eat lunch for free in the cafeteria. The meal will be served from 11:45 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. The meal will be of the same quality as those served throughout the school year; however, only one entrée will be served each day. Again, any child 18 years old or younger may eat lunch for free. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
