Spur ISD school is cancelled today due to no water and not knowing when it will come back on. Boys playoff game in Slaton will take place at 6:30.

No tickets are required for the boys’ basketball game tomorrow (02/19).

The Spurettes playoff game versus Borden County is taking place Thursday in Ira at 5:30. We will travel the roads early to make sure they are safe for our students.

Spur ISD families and staff: Due to continued weather and road conditions, we will not have school tomorrow, Thursday, February 18, 2021. We will have a late start on Friday at 10:00am. Buses will run 2 hours late. We will keep you updated should anything change.

The Spurettes game versus Borden County had been rescheduled for Thursday in Ira. Game time has yet to be determined.

Spur ISD will be releasing students at 2:00 today due to our current weather situation. Buses will run at that time. Please keep informed by checking the Spur ISD Facebook page for updates.

Due to weather and road conditions the Spurette's playoff game tonight against Borden County in Ira is being rescheduled. We will keep yall updated as soon as we figure out when it will be rescheduled to. If you have a ticket for the game, hold on to it! It can still be used on the new date.

We have been out driving this afternoon and have seen areas of packed snow and some slick spots. Due to dangerously cold temperatures forecast overnight and the concern for student and staff safety, we will have a late start at 10:00am tomorrow, Tuesday 1-16-21. Thank you.

Varsity Boys basketball update: with tonight’s loss to Jayton and a Guthrie win vs Patton Springs we are tied for the 3rd playoff position. The Tiebreaker game will be played tomorrow 2-13-21 in Hamlin At 3:00. Come support your Bulldogs as the battle it out with Guthrie. We have 250 seats available for both teams so you will just pay at the gate. First come first served.

Basketball Update: The JV and Varsity boys are still playing today at 3:30 and 4:30 in Jayton. Based on what happens tonight between Guthrie vs Patton and Spur avs Jayton there could be a tie for a playoff spot between Spur and Guthrie. If we end up in a tie with Guthrie, the Tie-Breaker Game will be played tomorrow Saturday 2-13-21 in Hamlin @3:00pm. Sorry for the short notice but the game must be played as soon as possible due to certification of the playoff teams. If weather is an issue the game will take place on the next available date. We will push out more information as we get it.. Thanks

The Girls Basketball practice game scheduled for Friday with Robert Lee in Sweetwater has been cancelled. The Boys basketball games scheduled for tomorrow in Jayton are still on with adjusted times due to Jayton Girls playing a playoff game. Jv Boys game will begin at 3:30 followed by the Varsity at 4:30. There are still some tickets left.

43 tickets are now available for the boys' games @ Jayton on Friday the 12th.

The Boy’s Varsity Basketball game VS Patton springs will be starting earlier than we had scheduled. It will begin closer to 7:30 PM. Sorry for the late notice and the mix up of time. Just to be safe, start that direction to cheer on your Bulldogs.

The Spurettes picked up another practice game Friday, Feb. 12th vs Robert Lee in Sweetwater. The game starts at 6:30, doors open at 6:00 and tickets are not necessary.

The Spurettes take on Sundown in Abernathy tonight in a practice game. Tip off is @ 6:30 and tickets are not necessary.

31 wristbands are now available for the boys' basketball games @ Patton, tomorrow (02/9).

100 tickets are now available for the JH basketball games vs Patton tonight (02/8).

Basketball Game Update for 2-5-21 (Friday) JV Girls will be playing Aspermont in the OLD GYM starting at 4:00 followed by the JV Boys playing Valley. You will not need tickets to get into this game. We do ask that you enter on the Secondary side of the building for these games. Only people with a ticket to the Varsity games will be allowed to pass through the building to go to the Dome for those games. Unfortunately if you have received tickets for the varsity game prior to reading this, we are sold out for tomorrow night. If for some reason you received tickets but will not be able to be here please return them to the administration office so they can be given to someone who will be able to attend. Varsity Girls will play Guthrie starting at 6:30. The Dome doors will not open until 5:45. The Varsity Boys will follow at 8:00. Seniors will be honored between the Varsity Girls and Boys game.
