Tuesday January 8th: JV Boys play at 5:00 pm at the JH gym at Hale Center and the V Boys play at 7:30 pm at the HS gym at Hale Center. The Varsity girls play here at 6:30 pm in District game against Guthrie.

Spur ISD will be cancelling classes today due to not having any water. City of Spur officials currently do not think they will have the water back on before lunch. Junior High basketball games scheduled today are still scheduled. Coaches will contact with times.

The city of Spur is experiencing a water leak and feel they are going to shut water off to the town. Spur ISD will be delayed until 10:00 but there is a possibility of cancelling if we have no water. Bus will run @9. We will let everyone know if things change.

Spur ISD basketball teams will not be traveling to Borden County today. Stay safe and warm. Thank you.

If your child participated in elementary/junior high UIL events today in Jayton they are loaded and on the way home. Should be arriving about 7:15.

REMINDER: Today, November 20th we will have an Early Release! Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Buses will run shortly after.

Queen of the Courts Tournament Schedule held here at Spur ISD, Thursday 11/15/18 - Saturday 11/17/18

At this time all roadways are wet but are in good shape and Spur ISD is on normal schedule. It is starting snow a little but if anything changes we will send out further information. Conditions could always change so please be safe!!

Attention Parents and Students: We will be having a Secondary Campus Family Literacy night. We will have some different activities in different rooms, a light snack, and a chance for your student to win a door prize just by signing in when they come in the door. We will be having this on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. so come join us with your student for some fun activities and a light snack.

Attention Parents and Students: Elementary Family Literacy Night Come join us for some games, reading, and food for the evening. Also sign your student in as you come in for a chance to win a door prize for attending. It will be on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. We hope you can join us for a fun family evening.

Retake pictures are November 7th. If you would like retakes please return your packet you ordered, and we will retake them for you. If you are new to the district or were absent, then please pick up an order form and return it to Mrs. Hamilton.

Send off tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM in front of the High School for our State Cross Country Team! Come and join us.

Spur Jr. High One Act Play will have a community performance of “Citizen’s Arrest” at 6:00 p.m. in the Spur Schools Auditorium on Monday, November 5. The Jr. High Cheerleaders will host a pancake supper prior to the play then again following the performance.

South Plains College Touring Ensemble will present today for our 6-12 grade students at 1:00 in the auditorium. Parents are invited to attend.
