Please join us for Open House on Monday, August 14th from 6pm-8pm. 6th grade orientation will begin at 5:30pm in the Auditorium, then Mrs. Phillips would like to meet with everyone for a brief meeting with grades 6th-12th in the Auditorium before visiting classrooms.

We are excited to be offering Band this year! Band camp begins Monday August 7th through August 11th from 6-8pm. Please note that Camp will not be held on Wednesday August 9th. If you have played in band, or are interested in being in band, you are welcome to attend! (Grades 8th-12th) Meet at the Band Hall at 6:00PM on August 7th.

DUAL CREDIT MEETING Parents: If your student has never taken dual credit and is planning to take it this school year, please join us for a meeting in the high school library on Tuesday, August 1st at 5:45pm. NEW-Online Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year. We are excited to announce we are implementing online registration. As a result, there will be no more 1st day packets. In our first year of online registration, it is required that a parent or guardian visit the school to register their child. We have designated two days for this purpose: August 1st and August 2 from 11am to 7pm in the secondary computer lab. In case you are unable to attend either of the two dates mentioned above, please contact the school at 806-271-3385 to schedule an alternative registration time. New Incoming Student Registration must provide the following documents. • Student’s Social Security Card • Birth Certificate • Parent/Guardian ID photo ID (Texas DL or Government Photo ID) • Proof of Residential Address (Lease/Mortgage Agreement or Utility Bill) We look forward to a successful school year and appreciate your cooperation in making the registration process smooth and convenient. Reminder Summer Feeding starts today, please share! Spur ISD is required to participate in the Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Feeding Program. The cafeteria will be open each week day beginning Tuesday, May 30th, through Wednesday , June 28th. Any child 18 years and younger will be able to eat lunch for free in the cafeteria. The meal will be served from 12:00 P.M. to 12:30 P.M. The meal will be of the same quality as those served throughout the school year; however, only one entrée will be served each day. Again, any child 18 years old or younger may eat lunch for free. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Yesterday we ended the 2022-2023 school year with a staff luncheon where we recognized the following employees for their years of service at Spur ISD: Doris Leary (5 yrs); Not pictured- Jose Molina (5 yrs); Valaree Segura (15 yrs); Marci Bateman (21 yrs) and Kelly Maben (25 yrs). We also recognized Marcella Bilberry and Pat Hightower for 29 years of service at Spur ISD and congratulated them on their retirement. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. We will miss them dearly!
